This baseline study provides an overview of German-Chinese bilateral cooperation in agricultural sciences, comprising quantitative and qualitative aspects of cooperation. It provides an inventory of existing bilateral research projects in agricultural sciences makes recommendations regarding the role of the Science and Technology Platform (S&T Platform) of the DCZ in enhancing this scientific bilateral cooperation.
So far, there is no comprehensive inventory of ongoing German agricultural research projects with Chinese partners available. This baseline study fills the gap.
