Wang Ze’en has been an editor and researcher at Foodthink since 2021, an online media organization focused on promoting sustainable food systems in China. Her expertise centers on traditional pastoralism and agrobiodiversity.

Ze’en has written extensively on sustainable agri-food systems and has co-led the development of an Agrobiodiversity Conservation Action Plan in collaboration with the NGO Shan Shui Conservation Centre, as part of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021–2030).
