Announcement and Invitation: 6th Sino-German Agricultural Week

In the context of the bilateral cooperation between the German Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Chinese Ministry for Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) the 6th Sino-German Agricultural Week will be held from 30 November to 3 December 2020. Hainan Free Trade Port Seeds Industry Development Forum

At the invitation of the China National Seed Trade Association Dr. Jürgen Ritter, German Managing Director of the Sino-German Agricultural Centre, participated in the “Hainan Free Trade Port Seeds Industry Development Forum” on 30 October in Sanya. At this occasion he introduced the fields of activities of the Sino-German Agricultural Centre, in particular the cooperation activities in the seeds sector with German partners of the Federal Plant Variety Office and the German Plant Breeders’ Association.[...]

DCZ participation in IAMO Forum 2020: „Digital transformation – towards sustainable food value chains in Eurasia“

Between June 24-26, the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) held its annual international conference focussing on the topic „Digital transformation – towards sustainable food value chains in Eurasia“. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year’s conference was held online. The event was attended by more than 400 participants from all over the world.
