Announcement and Invitation: 6th Sino-German Agricultural Week

In the context of the bilateral cooperation between the German Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Chinese Ministry for Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) the 6th Sino-German Agricultural Week will be held from 30 November to 3 December 2020. The week is jointly sponsored by MARA and BMEL, implemented by the Sino-German Agricultural Centre (DCZ).

Due to the international travel limitations caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic this year’s conference will be organized as a hybrid event of on-site conferences and online webinars. The on-site conference will be held in the Swan Lake View Hotel 北京中Events of the Sino-German Cooperation Project on Animal Breeding and Husbandry in China in the context of the Agricultural Week雁栖湖景酒店 at Yanqi Lake, Huairou District in Beijing. For participants who will not be able to attend in Beijing it will be possible to attend the conference via online streaming.
High-level representatives from politics, science and agribusiness of both countries are expected to participate and contribute in-person or online. For three days leading researchers, policy makers and entrepreneurs will share research findings, practical experiences and insights on the latest developments in the respective fields. The event will include the following events with keynote lectures, panel discussions, as well as networking opportunities.
