German exports of agricultural goods have accounted for a significant share of the German gross domestic product (GDP) for many years. In line with current legislation restricting export subsidies, the German government supports exporting companies through a number of policies and measures such as access to existing export networks, foreign market analysis and other forms of finacial support.
