This conference report summarizes the contributions made by speakers and participants at the 8 th Sino-German Agricultural Week held in Beijing and online from 21-25 November 2022 and organized by the Sino-German Agricultural Centre (DCZ).
Its aim is to synthesize the challenges and opportunities for Sino-German collaboration in creating the sustainable and resilient food systems needed for providing sufficient, adequate, and nutritious food to everyone on the planet.
Under the guiding theme “Approaches to Domestic and Global Food Security”, the conference assessed the potential of digitalization, seed development, and initiatives aimed at reducing food loss and waste in achieving this goal.
