We are happy to announce our new webinar series DCZ TALKS. Once every two months, we’ll invite policymakers, scientists, business leaders, and practitioners to discuss key issues of interest to Sino-German agricultural cooperation—from food security to digital farming, climate-resilient agriculture, biodiversity, and rural development. Our experts hail from Germany, China, and the international community and will share their insights in moderated lectures and roundtable discussions. All events are open to the broader public and will take place either online or in hybrid format, so watch out for our upcoming announcements.
Our first event will take place on 23 March and will focus on the role of urban and peri-urban agriculture for the development of city food systems and climate-resilient food production in urban environments. Register here to join the event. Please also feel free to download our latest study comparing urban agriculture approaches in the EU/ Germany and China by Rita Merkle, one of our invited speakers at the webinar.
