The Academy of Agricultural Planning and Engineering (AAPE) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) – 农业农村部规划设计研究院 is directly under the administration of MARA. The institute currently employs 328 people and focuses on research and development, the application of agricultural engineering technology and equipment, rural planning, design and construction services, as well as agricultural and rural policy research.
