Founded in 1979 and supported by 42 research institutes, the Graduate School of CAAS offers studies for master’s and doctoral degrees. There are about 572 supervisors for doctoral programs and 1,672 instructors for master’s programs. The Graduate School actively encourages international cooperation and has established bilateral exchanges with international organizations, universities, and agricultural research institutions in 60 countries and regions, including joint PhD programs such as the joint PhD Program in Agronomy and Bioengineering with the University of Liege (Belgium) and the joint program in Agriculture and Life Sciences with Wageningen University (Netherlands). At present, about 150 foreign students study at GSCAAS.
