The Institute of Sugar Beet Research (ISB) – 甜菜研究所 is a national research institute located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, and is attached to Heilongjiang University. It specializes in genetic improvement, genetic resources, resources and environment, and regional trials.
The institute employs 60 staff members, including 47 scientists.
