Focus of this laboratory, established in 2014, is on the change mechanism, driving mechanism and detection technology of the physical, chemical and biological processes and patterns of the land surface system; explore the spatiotemporal differences and formation mechanisms of China’s climate system under the influence of human activities and global change, and the change mechanism of the land surface system process , modern processes of land use/land cover change and the migration cycle mechanism of chemical elements and chemical substances in the land surface system, as well as the coupling mechanism in typical areas. At the application level, starting from serving my country’s major needs in the fields of resources, environment and sustainable development, we focus on studying the resource, environmental, ecological and health effects of changes in China’s land surface processes, and exploring the pattern and regional coordination of land surface resource and environmental changes. management mechanisms, and carry out restoration technologies for degraded ecological environments in key areas.
