The China-Vietnam International Joint Laboratory for Agricultural Science was established by the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS) in collaboration with national-level agricultural research institutes and universities in Vietnam in 2020. The laboratory focuses on several areas of research and development, including:
- The research and utilization of crop germplasm.
- The development and optimization of crop molecular breeding technology and molecular genetic markers.
- The testing and inspection of crop ecological environment safety.
- Crop nutrition enhancement and the construction of green ecological agricultural systems.
