College for Landscape Architecture and Art

The College of Landscape Architecture and Art at Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University (NWAFU) was founded in 2014, though its origins trace back to the Garden Department of Northwest Agriculture College, established in 1958.

The college offers four undergraduate majors: Landscape Architecture, Gardening, Environmental Design, and Urban and Rural Planning. It is home to several key research institutions, including the Oil Peony Engineering Technology Research Center of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Human Settlement Environment Research Institute of Northwest A&F University, and the Garden and Flower Research Institute of Northwest A&F University.

The college currently has 79 full-time faculty members and a student body of 1,631 students, including 1,088 undergraduates and 543 master’s and doctoral students.
