Located in Dujiangyan City, the College of Business and Tourism at Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU) offers a comprehensive academic and research environment. It is organized into five teaching departments: Business Administration, Tourism Management, E-commerce, Accounting, and Evaluation and Auditing. The college also features an Experimental Teaching Center, an Internationalization Program Education Center, and a Social Service Center, supporting both academic programs and community-oriented initiatives.
The college hosts several teaching and research platforms, including the Sichuan Agricultural University Agriculture and Forestry Ecological Study and Travel Practice Base, which is a provincial-level unit for study and travel practice. Additional platforms include the MTA (Master of Tourism Administration) Education Center, the MPAcc (Master of Professional Accounting) Education Center, and the Sichuan Provincial Accounting Association Rural Finance Personnel Education and Training Center. National-level platforms include the National Western Rural Tourism Talent Training Demonstration Unit and the National Rural Tourism Talent Training Base. The college is also a key participant in the “New E-Businessman in Chengdu” project, with a dedicated training base and social service initiatives, such as the “New Electric Merchants” training program.
The college currently has 65 teaching staff members and about 2,400 full-time students. Through its integration of academic programs, research platforms, and training initiatives, the College of Business and Tourism at SAU plays an important role in developing talent and supporting regional development in areas such as rural tourism, e-commerce, and business management.
