The College of Food Science, founded in 1987, comprises three departments: Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, and Food Nutrition and Health. The college offers three undergraduate majors: Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, and Food Nutrition and Health. It also offers doctoral programs in Food Science and Engineering, Post-harvest Science of Horticultural Products, and Quality and Safety of Livestock Products. Currently, the college has 68 full-time faculty members, including 18 professors.
