College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering

The College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering at Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University (NWAFU) consists of five departments: Agricultural Water Conservancy Engineering, Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic and Hydroelectric Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Power and Electrical Engineering.

The college has 218 faculty members and hosts several key research platforms, including the National Engineering Laboratory of Crop Efficient Water Use, the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Water and Soil Engineering in Arid Areas of the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Efficient Water Use of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Experimental Center of the Northwest Institute of Hydraulic Research of the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Shaanxi Provincial Water-Saving Irrigation Experimental Center. These facilities support advanced research and innovation in water resource management, irrigation technologies, and hydraulic engineering.
