The Guizhou Agricultural Science and Technology Information Research Institute of Guizhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences is the supporting unit of the Guizhou Agricultural Information Engineering Technology Research Center, the Guizhou Sharing Service Branch of the National Agricultural Science Data Sharing Center authorized by MARA, and the rural information service base authorized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The institute employs 43 staff members.
The institute consists of four teams: agricultural science and technology media, agricultural science and technology information analysis and services, intelligent perception and crop model research, and agricultural big data and remote sensing research. These teams are involved in agricultural science and technology journal editing and publishing, literature network operation and maintenance services, agricultural film and television media production, science and technology information resource development, agricultural technology extension information services, agricultural monitoring and early warning research, crop models, image recognition, intelligent perception, and production process intelligent management research. Additionally, they work on agricultural big data, agricultural facilities and equipment intelligent regulation, agricultural remote sensing, and GIS spatial analysis and evaluation. The institute also has smart agricultural laboratories such as crop simulation models, remote sensing and GIS, and a 4.67-hectare digital agricultural experimental base.
