Institute of Food Processing and Safety

The Institute of Food Processing and Safety at Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU) was established in 2009. The institute comprises the Department of Food Science and Engineering, the Department of Food Quality and Safety, and the Department of Packaging Engineering.

The institute offers four general undergraduate majors: Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Packaging Engineering, and Food Nutrition and Health, along with one vocational undergraduate major in Food Science and Engineering.

Currently, the institute has 67 faculty members, including 18 professors and 21 associate professors.
