The International Center for Reference Materials for Mycotoxins was co-established by the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS) and SCIENSANO in 2019. The collaboration between the two organizations encompasses several key areas:
- Cooperative research on the preparation of reference materials and the analysis of mycotoxins.
- Preparation of pure standards for mycotoxins.
- Organization of Proficiency Tests (PT) for mycotoxin analysis.
- Development and establishment of analytical methods for detecting mycotoxins.
- Exchange of researchers to promote knowledge sharing.
- Co-organization of international conferences to facilitate global collaboration on mycotoxin research.
