With the joint efforts of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences (CAFS) and Nanjing Agricultural University, Wuxi Fisheries College (WFC) was established in 1993.
Currently, WFC offers PhD and MSc degree programs in Aquaculture Sciences and Hydrobiology, as well as a postdoctoral research station for aquaculture. Over the past 20 years, WFC has graduated approximately 40 PhD students, 320 MSc students, and 1,100 undergraduates.
