The Agricultural Science and Technology Information Institute of Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CQAAS) specializes in intelligent agriculture, agricultural precision remote sensing, agricultural Internet of Things (IoT) technology, agricultural big data, agricultural monitoring and early warning systems, crop simulation models, agricultural industry knowledge map construction, digital agriculture and rural development, agricultural expert systems, software development, multimedia technology, and the utilization of agricultural information resources. The institute also focuses on agricultural planning and consulting, the creation of agricultural film and television thematic teaching materials, computer network engineering planning and construction, data sharing and security protection, and agricultural intelligence resource sharing, along with other scientific research and technological development services.
The institute is home to two scientific research teams: the Smart Agriculture Innovation Team and the Knowledge Service Innovation Team. It has 21 employees.
