The Fujian Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences Nanping Campus was established in 2018. It primarily focuses on the development of key industries in the Nanping region, including rice, vegetables, fruits, and tea. The campus integrates the scientific and technological strengths of the province with the local authorities and has established several centers, including the Ecological Agriculture Center, Digital Agriculture Center, Plant Protection Center, Biotechnology Center, Deciduous Fruit Tree Center, and Scientific and Technological Service Center.
The Nanping Campus engages in five key areas: technological innovation, technical demonstration, technology promotion, technical cooperation, and personnel training. It conducts research on major agricultural projects, common technologies, and technological advancements. The campus is involved in major project research, new technology demonstrations, talent exchange and training, as well as agricultural planning and consulting. It integrates research and development, results incubation, demonstration, and promotion, providing leadership and support for the sustainable development of modern green agriculture and special agricultural industries in Nanping City.
