The Fujian Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences Zhangzhou Campus was established in 2020. The campus primarily focuses on leveraging the regional advantages of Zhangzhou, such as fruits, edible fungi, tea, facilities, vegetables, Chinese herbs, and other local agricultural industries. It is involved in the selection and introduction of new crop varieties, integration of key modern agricultural technologies, livestock and poultry waste recycling, deep processing of agricultural products, and other areas of cooperative research. The campus aims to transform research results and enhance the agricultural research and innovation capacity of Zhangzhou City.
