The Institute of Agricultural Engineering of Jiangxi Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences (JXAAS) is primarily focused on the research and development of agricultural machinery and equipment, integration of agricultural machinery with agronomic technology, agricultural testing technologies, information agriculture technologies, and facilities for agricultural engineering research and application. It also oversees product quality supervision and inspection for agricultural machinery, and has the authority to issue inspection reports in accordance with the law. The institute has 35 employees.
The institute operates three research laboratories: the Grain and Oil Equipment Research Laboratory, Vegetable Equipment Research Laboratory, and Tea and Fruit Equipment Research Laboratory.
