The Soil, Fertilizer, and Environmental Resources Research Institute of Jiangxi Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences (JXAAS) primarily focuses on scientific research, analysis, testing, and technical services in areas including soil, agro-ecology, agricultural resources and the agro-environment, plant nutrition and fertilization, tillage and cultivation, new fertilizers, and the safe production of agricultural products. Over the years, the institute has provided crucial technical support for Jiangxi’s sustained grain yield, agro-ecological environmental protection, efficient resource utilization, comprehensive management and development of red soil, and the development of green organic food.
The Institute currently employs 71 staff members and has 7 operational departments:
